Studio Policies

Studio Policies

Practice begins when you make your way through the doors. Being late and entering a class already in progress, leaving a class at an inappropriate time (i.e. before or during corpse pose), can be a real distraction for everyBODY.

If you must leave early, notify your teacher and be sure to take a savasana before leaving.  Leave quietly.

  • Please arrive before the start of class and prepare to stay the entire time. Please remove your shoes when entering the studio and refrain from wearing heavy perfumes.
  • Make space for everyone and only take up as much space as you need for your mat and for your practice.
  • Please turn off or silence cell phones and watches before class begins.  A $5 donation to the Buddha head if your phone goes off during class.  $10 if it’s during Savasana.
  • Limit your postures and techniques to those guided by your teachers unless the teacher offers a more advanced version or different posture.
  • Students are requested to maintain healthy boundaries with our studio, including our teachers, and fellow yogis all times.
  • Pre-registration is strongly suggested
  • Be sure to book a class that is appropriate for you and your practice.
  • Please  be sure to cancel your class if you’re not able to make it. This can be done on the same app you booked your class or through the email you received.
  • NO SHOW will result in a fee or use of pass credit. We understand you might have a last minute emergency and can’t make it to class. Please contact us to let us know so we can avoid loss of credits.
  • Please do not arrive late to class. Once class has started, we ask you DO NOT ENTER. Arriving 10 minutes before the start of class will give you time to settle into your space.
  • Leave shoes and ALL personal items in the cubbies provided.
  • Please be respectful of the mood of the room when you arrive. Quietly unroll your mat.
  • Respect the teacher’s sequencing – Don’t do your own routine or enter into postures that aren’t part of what’s being cued in the class.
  • Let your teacher know about any injuries or conditions that might affect your practice or require variations.
  • Do not skip Savasana. If you need to leave early for any reason, let your teacher know and take space near the door. Stop your practice in time to take a few minutes of Savasana before you leave QUIETLY.
  • Please wipe down your rental mat and return all props neatly.
  • Yoga is a time to unplug from everything except being present on your mat. Please leave CELL PHONES AND iWatches in the cubby OFF or SILENCED. We understand there are times you may need to have your device handy and on that rare occasion, please let your teacher know. Checking phones and iWatches are not only a distraction to you, but also to those around you.
  • Most importantly, take this time for you and enjoy your practice.
